Rotator Cuff Tear

Rotator Cuff Tears are a common cause of shoulder pain/inflammation and weakness. Usually Rotator Cuff Tears happen due to a specific injury, so they are felt immediately. In some other cases, however, it can occur due to repetitive stress motions such as in athletes who do a lot of throwing or heavy lifting. The pain associated with this injury can affect the ability to lift your arm which in turn hampers a person trying to dress themselves, lifting or reaching overhead, typing, or swimming.
